The University of KwaZulu-Natal offers an exceptionally wide range of exciting and innovative multi-disciplinary courses. Their Faculty of Health Sciences is responsible for coordinating the smooth running of undergraduate and post graduate degrees in the disciplines of Audiology, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology.
They believe that while they should train Audiologists, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists who can work anywhere in the world, their prime focus is to train those who work with competence and sensitivity within an African context.
Bachelor of Communication Pathology (Speech – Language Pathology)
Once trained, students will be skilled Speech-Language Pathologists offering services to public and private sectors, e.g., in hospitals, special schools and private practice.

- Cleft Palate and other Cranio-facial Disorders
- Fluency Disorders
- Developmental Language Disorders

- Neurologically Acquired Speech and Language Disorders in children and adults
