Communication is a multi-dimensional tool used to help express, reason, understand and learn and are vital aspects of our everyday lives. Any problem that hinders the development of speech and language and prevents a person from communicating effectively will affect all the other areas of their lives.

Speech therapy is offered at The Ballito Medical centre. Their speech therapist is qualified as a Speech and Hearing Therapist at Wits SA (BA WITS) and offer therapy for -

Language delay
Early intervention for premature or at-risk infants
Feeding difficulties
Phonology/articulation disorders
Lanuage learning disability
Neuro/rehabilitation: strokes, motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injury
Auditory perceptual difficulties – reading, writing, listening skills
